Movie Screens FAQs

Does Ultimate Outdoor Entertainment have insurance?
Yes, each of our independently owned & operated locations have insurance. Most locations will carry a minimum of $1,000,000 in liability coverage. Certificates of Insurance (COI) with additional loss payees are available for a small additional fee.

Can I show something other than a movie?
Yes! Anything you can put on your television can be shown on our giant inflatable screens. Some great ideas for events around a screen rental include video gaming parties and live sporting events such as UFC fights, March Madness, and professional or NCAA football games.

Why should I hold an outdoor movie?
We offer a fun, family friendly activity that promotes a sense of community and can be enjoyed by just about everyone! It’s both modern and nostalgic all at the same time, and provides a truly unique cinematic experience for movie lovers of all ages!

How big are the screens?
Ultimate Outdoor Entertainment has screen sizes that range from 12 feet to more than 40 feet across. Some locations have screen sizes as large as 75 feet! You can review our screen size/audience size graphic below to see common applications and help you decide.

How much does it cost to hold an Outdoor Movie night?
Great question! Ultimate Outdoor Entertainment has 4-6 different screen sizes to choose from (depending on your location) but prices ranges from just $299 to $1999 & up depending on which screen you choose.

Can we charge admission to our Outdoor Movie Night?
You can charge admission to your outdoor movie night, but just know that the licensing companies have different policies about charging admission to certain films and you will more than likely be required to split the proceeds of the admissions with the licensing company. You will need to contact the licensing company of the film you choose to discuss details with them regarding admissions.

Do I need to obtain a license to show a movie?
Generally, showing a movie outdoors in a location other than your backyard will require a license. The Federal Copyright Act (Title 17, United States code, Public Law 94-553, 90 Stat. 2541) governs how copyrighted materials, such as movies, may be utilized publicly. Neither the rental nor the purchase or lending of a videocassette or DVD carries with it the right to exhibit such a movie publicly outside the home, unless the site where the video is used is properly licensed for copyright compliant exhibition.

This legal copyright compliance requirement applies to parks and recreation departments, colleges, universities, public schools, day care facilities, summer camps, churches, private clubs, prisons, lodges, businesses, etc. regardless of whether admission is charged, whether the institution is commercial or non-profit or whether a federal, state or local agency is involved.

The movie studios who own copyrights, and their agents, are the only parties who are authorized to license sites such as parks and recreation departments, businesses, museums, etc. No other group or person has the right to exhibit or license exhibitions of copyrighted movies.

How much power is needed?
Power requirements vary based on what size screen you choose, and if you added popcorn to your event. Typically 2 or 3 standard 15 amp circuits are needed to power everything. Many of our locations have optional generator service for an additional charge if you don’t have power at your movie night location.

Does it need to be dark to see a picture?
Yes! If your movie is held outdoors we recommend you schedule your start time to be at least 15 minutes after the official sunset time for your location. You can view your local sunset times by visiting SunriseSunset.com.

How much time is needed?
Ultimate Outdoor Entertainment will typically schedule an arrival time of 1 – 2 hours prior to your movie start time. Equipment can typically be setup in as little as 30-45 minutes depending on screen size and venue. Your Ultimate Outdoor Entertainment representative will work with you to schedule our arrival time at your movie night.

Does Ultimate Outdoor Entertainment offer concessions?
We do offer full-service popcorn packages at most locations. This means that we bring a theater-style popcorn machine and we will pop, bag and serve popcorn to your audience directly from our machines. What’s a movie night without popcorn!

Will the screens hurt/kill the grass?
Not at all. Our screens typically weigh less than 200 lbs. and the weigh is spread out over a large surface area.

Can we show pre-movie advertisements?
Definitely! Many Ultimate Outdoor Entertainment customers will work with local business to sponsor their movie night to help offset the cost. Ultimate Outdoor Entertainment will work with you and your sponsors to ensure we can promote your sponsors on our big screen during your movie night. We can also play your music through our great sound system as your audience is arriving for your movie night.

What if it rains? What about wind?
Rain and/or high winds can cause a movie night to be cancelled. Ultimate Outdoor Entertainment offers a rain date guarantee in most locations around the country. Just ask your local office what their weather policy is for your specific event.

Flixxr Photo Booths FAQs

Premiere Inflatables FAQs

Does the price include set up and delivery?
Yes, although additional fees may apply for areas farther out. Remember prices do not include sales tax.

Do you deliver to other cities?
Yes, but once again please be aware that due to rising gas prices and the possible need for an extra truck and labor that travel fees can be quite high. Please call our office for a current quote.

Does the standard 4 hour rental time include your set up time?
No. We arrive early to set up so you get the entire rental time to play.

When do you set up?
That depends on how many rentals we have that day. Generally we arrive 1-3 hours before the rental time begins. If we have a lot of rentals that day, we may need to set up as early as 4 hours in advance. If this is the case, we will call the Friday before to confirm that someone will be at the party location.

We’ve rented some really dirty jumps from other companies in the past. Are they always that dirty?
No. The jump should be clean when you get it. UOE cleans and disinfects after every rental.

Do we have to keep it plugged in the entire time?
Yes. A blower keeps air in the jump unit the entire time. Once unplugged they deflate. That’s why we require an outlet within 50 feet of the unit or a generator. Longer cords can pop your circuit breaker so we bring our own heavy duty cords.

What about parks? Do parks have electricity?
We love setting up at parks but most parks do NOT have electricity. If you want to set up at a park, you must rent a generator. We rent generators at a reasonable cost. Also, most parks are first come, first serve so get your spot early in the day. Some parks require a reservation so be sure to check with your local park to ensure there is no confusion on the day of the event.

What payments do you take?
Cash or Credit Cards. If paying by cash, please have exact change as our drivers do not carry cash.

What if we need to cancel?
Please check out our policies page for details.

Do you require a deposit?
Yes all orders require a $50 Credit Card deposit. The are fully refundable if you cancel your order at least 8 days prior to your rental date. If you cancel between 2-7 days prior to your rental you will be given a rain check that is good for 1 year.

How big are the jumps?
Most of our jumps are 15’x15′ which is a little bigger than many companies rent. Please note the space required for each jump (listed near the large picture) as some are VERY big and require extra space. When in doubt, measure your space to make sure it will fit. Jumps need room to be staked and they need room for the blower and can’t rub against walls or trees as this may damage the jump. The sizes listed with each jump include the space needed for stakes, tarp, etc. If you have stairs or a tiered backyard, please call our office to discuss options for setup.

What about the big jumps? Any special requirements?
Check the requirements listed with each jump. Also, make sure you have at least a 4 feet of access to the area where it will be set up. The jumps can weigh up to 650 pounds so we need a clear path with ample room.

What surfaces do you set up on?
We can set up on Grass (our favorite and best for the kids), dirt, asphalt, and concrete. Sorry, we can’t set up on any type of rocks as the constant rubbing will wear through the vinyl jumps.

Can we see a copy of your contract and safety rules?
Yes. There is a link in your receipt once you’ve ordered or you may contact our office.

Are we responsible for the unit if it gets a tear or damaged in any way?
Yes and no. You are not responsible for normal wear and tear on our units. Seams may develop tears in high traffic areas over a period of time. If this happens please alert us at once so we can remedy the situation. If however, damage occurs due to failure to follow our safety rules or negligence (i.e. not turning off the blower in high winds) you will be responsible for all damages up to and including replacement of the unit/blower etc which can cost thousands of dollars. We don’t want you or us to be in that situation which is why we have you sign and initial on all of our safety rules so that you can be the trained operator.
