UPSTATE ADDS 3 STAFF POSITIONS IN ALBANY AREA

The Ed & Ed Team at Upstate Office Equipment is proud to announce that we have added (2) new service technicians and (1) sales representative to our Albany area operations. "These additional positions will reinforce our commitment to the Albany market, bringing our Albany staff level to five.", says Ed Potrzeba, Jr.
Jason Belleville & Jim Carroll join our service team and Mark Wolfsberg joins our sales team. Jason, Jim, & Mark are eager to serve the needs of our Albany customers!
Upstate Office Equipment is located in Westmoreland, New York and services over 5,400 businesses throughout the Central New York & Capital region with postage meter, mail equipment, copier, printer and facsimile equipment sales and service. Upstate Office Equipment has been in business since 1977 and currently employs 35 people.

AND ADDITIONAL JOBS

Ed Potrzeba, Jr., President of Upstate Office Equipment announced today the finalization of Upstate Office Equipment's purchase of Alternative Business Systems of Albany NY. The purchase will include 2 jobs and will add 4 additional within the next 30 days.
"We're buying Alternative Business Systems to enter in the Albany-Capital District marketplace. The purchase will strengthen our market share in the State of New York.”, Potrzeba, Jr. said. "We're excited about the opportunity in the Albany market and we will be adding additional staff in Albany & Westmoreland that will vastly increase our service capabilities."
Former Alternative Business Systems spokesperson, Steve Cribben, had said the buyout made sense to Upstate Office Equipment in a time when many postage meters in the market are facing decertification by the US Postal Service (USPS). The USPS requires all postage meter equipment to be in compliance to ensure secure postage meter technology. Upstate Office Equipment will now offer Hasler postage meters and mailing equipment in over 29 counties throughout NY covering over two thirds of the state.

Ed Potrzeba, Jr., president of Upstate Office Equipment announced September 1, 2006 that it acquired the assets of Progressive Business Systems of Rochester, the local Hasler mailing equipment dealer. The purchase added two additional jobs to “The Ed & Ed Team” We purchased Progressive because the products and services the company has in place will enhance Upstate’s present mail and postage meter product offering throughout Central New York. We now offer two of the best brands of postage meters and mailing equipment that will pass the US Postal Service certification requirements.
Former Progressive Business Services spokesperson, Steve Flood, had said the buyout made sense to Upstate in a time when many postage meters in the market are facing decertification by the US Postal Service (USPS). The USPS requires all postage meter equipment to be in compliance to adequately identify and track postage meter usage.
